This is an example of a very healthy and prolific plant. This photo was taken in the morning - you can see the flower is still strong. You may also be able to spot several buds and seed pods. I discovered this sprawl of daturas growing in the front of someone's yard around the block from my folks' house. They were growing directly in the ground (unlike mine in pots) and got full sun for a lot of the day. I suspect they re-sew themselves for the following year. |
